This event takes place rain, shine or snow on the Saturday before Easter. Join our neighborhood children ages 0 to 12 as they scramble to collect some of the 2,000 Easter eggs placed within Cliffside Park. Inside each egg is a piece of candy. Golden eggs (one per child) can be turned in for a small toy or prize. Every child who attends gets a prize. Remember to bring a basket or bag to collect the plastic eggs! Please use care opening the eggs as they are reused every year.

As with all Stoneridge 2 events, the Annual Easter Egg Hunt is planned, staffed amd run by volunteers. Our local Boy Scout Troop 1705 also provides hours of invaluable support. Thanks to all who participate!

Entrance to Cliffside Park is on Cliffside Dr., between Rutgers Dr. and Highbury Dr. Please use the official entrance marked by the sign. 

Held on the Saturday immediately prior to Halloween, our Halloween Parade is often a highlight of the autumn season for children, parents and grandparents alike. 

Children of all ages are invited to wear their favorite Halloween costumes for a .75-mile trek around the streets surrounding Highbury Woods. We follow the award-winning Troy Athens Redhawk Marching Band as they play their favorite fight songs. At the end of the parade, the HOA serves up cider and donuts. And the Athens Marching Band performs a short concert for all to enjoy.

Stoneridge II is one of the only neighborhoods where the Athens Marching Band performs for a parade. And they've been our special guests for over 30 years!

How to participate:

• The parade begins at Wass Elementary. See the Events schedule for date and time.
• Parade marchers leave Wass down Willard to Harbor to Highbury, east to Bingham, up Bingham to Rosebrook, down Rosebrook to Highbury, then back to Wass Elementary (see Road Closure map below.)
• Marchers with tired legs (children and adults alike) can take a shortcut through Highbury Park at Lata Dr. Note that the paths in Highbury Park are natural, so plan accordingly.
• Upon your return to Wass Elementary, the Athens Marching Band will play a short concert.
• Cider and donuts – served by your volunteer HOA members – are available as supplies last. 

Street Closing Instructions

The parade route streets are closed during this event to protect the saftey of all participants. Homeowners along the route are provided with Route Closure times and instructions. 

Per law enforcement regulations:

No moving vehicles are allowed on any portion of the parade route

at any time that there are parade participants on the streets. 

Please respect the volunteers helping keep everyone safe!

Once a popular annual event, the Ice Cream Social has been on hiatus since 2020. Past events saw bowls and cones sold for just 50¢. This event provides an opportunity for neighbors to meet other neighbors, and everyone to enjoy a small break from the summer's heat in our own Highbury Park. Due to busy summer schedules of the HOA volunteers and many of our residents, the Ice Cream Social has been on break.
