The Stoneridge II Homeowners Association is tasked with ensuring that the subdivision maintains its parks and public spaces, as well as providing events for the benefit of all
residents. The only source of funds for these activities are the dues paid by each residence.
The Association Board consists of volunteers residing in the subdivision. Any resident at least 18 years of age and residing in the subdivision for more than half the year is eligible to serve on
the board. Volunteers must be elected at the Annual Meeting for one-year terms. There is no limit to the number of terms any person can serve.
Interested in joining the Homeowners Association Board? Simply attend the Annual Meeting, or submit your application via the Contact Form on this website. We welcome any and all volunteers!

Our Highbury Woods is unique in the City of Troy, as it is one of the few all-natural green spaces located entirely within a subdivision. It was deeded to the residents of Stoneridge Woods II
subdivision by the City of Troy to be maintained in its natural state as part of the city's Open Space/Green Space Agreement. As long as the residents of Stoneridge Woods II adhere to the agreement,
developers cannot raze the woods and build additional housing.
How We Adhere to the Green Space Agreement
To help the subdivision keep legal control of the woods and adhere to the Green Space Agreement, the HOA requests that all residents:
- Do Not Cut Trees/Bushes – Please do not damage or cut any trees or bushes within the woods.
- Fallen Trees on Your Property – If a tree or branch falls onto your property from within the woods,
contact the Homeowners Association! The HOA's contracted forestry company will provide removal service.
- The HOA is under no obligation to reimburse any tree removal contracted directly by a homeowner.
- Fallen Trees in the Woods – Allow fallen limbs or trees within the woods to naturally decompose, providing homes and food for all nature's creatures. Report any fallen limbs or
trees that cross a walking path to the Homeowners Association.
- Respect Property Lines – Do not extend your yard beyond your lot line.
This is both illegal and unacceptable. Violators may be prosecuted.
- Yard Waste Dumping – Do not dump any yard waste, grass clippings, limbs, leaves, logs, etc. into the woods. This can stifle the natural growth.
- The City of Troy has excellent trash removal services that include virtually anything that needs disposal.
- Picking Wildflowers – Please do not pick the wildflowers as some are protected species.
- Path Maintenance – Please do not change the paths, create new paths or clean the paths. Fallen leaves discourage weeds from growing and create a protective layer that helps
prevent erosion.
- Mountain Bicycles – Riding on the existing paths is allowed, as long as riders yield to walkers.
- Creating cross-country trails is not allowed and may be prosecuted.
- RC Cars and Drones – Allowed as long as the vehicle does not damage any part of the woods.
- Please be considerate of neighbors who may not like the noise of RC vehicles in the nearby woods.
- Leash All Pets – Dogs, cats, moose, snakes... ALL pets are to be leashed and under control throughout the woods and in all public spaces.
- Do Not Build Structures – No permanent structures are allowed in the woods per the Green Space agreement.
- Play forts built with downed limbs must be temporary and will be removed if they remain more than 3 days. Please scatter the limbs afterwards.
- Tearing limbs off trees or uprooting trees is strictly prohibited!
- Motorized Vehicles – No motorized vehicles, including electric bikes, are allowed in the woods.
- Smoking and Fires – All cigarettes and open flames are to be extinguished before entering the woods. During dry and hot weather, ground fires are a very real possibility, which
could cause extreme and life-threatening damage to neighboring homes.
- Campfires of any kind are illegal and violators will be prosecuted.
- Clean Up After All Pets – Please bag and remove all pet feces deposited by your pet in any part of the woods, parks or residential streets.
- In the woods especially, pet feces decomposes very slowly and can poison native animals and vegetation.
- SPECIAL NOTE: There is no "poop fairy" to pick up bags of feces from within the park! Placing a full feces bag behind a tree, under leaves or within a log is not only gross, it's
illegal and considered littering by state law and local regulations. Violators will be prosecuted.
The Woods and Parks of Stoneridge Woods Are Private Property
Please remember that the Stoneridge parks and woods are the private property of the Stoneridge Woods II, for the enjoyment of its residents. The City of Troy does not own them or maintain them. It
is up to all of us to keep these valuable spaces natural and inviting.
Please care for our parks and woods with consideration
towards all the residents who would like to enjoy them!
