Explore Our Community

Stoneridge Woods subdivision is filled with friendly, involved and active residents. With a population as diverse as any in Troy, we have over 400 residences of families, singles, retirees and empty-nesters.

Homes in our community are of all shapes and sizes – this is no cookie-cutter neighborhood. Mature trees line the streets. Sidewalks are well-maintained for pleasant strolls. Neighbors are friendly and welcoming.

Take a Hike in Highbury Woods

At 11.2 acres, Highbury Woods is as large as some city parks. Except Highbury Woods is owned and maintained by the residents of Stoneridge Woods. A natural path winds through the trees for residents to stroll amongst the maple, oak, birch and other trees in any season.

In the spring, many wildflower species greet the warm weather with bright flowers. In the fall, squirrels and other wildlife get ready for another Michigan winter.

In a contract with the city of Troy, we maintain Highbury Woods as a natural forest. No permanent or semi-permanent structures can be erected. No tree cutting is allowed, except when deemed necessary by the Homeowners Association Board. For more information on how we protect this unique wild space, please visit our Homeowners Page.

Rest a While in Highbury Park

Adjacent to Highbury Woods is Highbury Park. Complete with built-in benches for sitting, chatting or reading, the park provides a welcome break from the heat of summer as it's shaded by the tall trees in the nearby woods. The entrance is located along Highbury Drive, near Rosebrook Drive.

Chill Out in Cliffside Park

Located off Cliffside Drive between Highbury Drive and Rutgers Drive, Cliffside Park offers a nice setting for a short, relaxing stroll. Small benches provide welcome resting spots, while tall trees shade nearly the entire area. Cliffside Park is the site of the subdivision's annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Exemplary Schools

Many residents are drawn to Troy by the top-notch public school system. In 2026, Troy Athens High School was rated within the top 500 high schools in the United States by U.S. News & World Reports. Wass Elementary School, a Blue-Ribbon National Exemplary school, is located adjacent to Stoneridge Woods, in walking distance for neighborhood children. Public school students may also attend nearby Larson Middle School and complete their education at Troy Athens. All are highly rated within the state of Michigan.
